I work effectively and empathically with people to address challenging issues and improve the quality of their lives and their relationships. I seek to empower and make a lasting difference, using years of experience and professional commitment to achieve fundamental change.
For some people, the process of moving forward can be relatively short and solution focussed. For others, greater complexity and traumatic events means time is needed to fully process and find a place of solace and clarity.

I offer Counselling and Psychotherapy in the Marlow and Henley area and over many years have established a busy service within St Katharine’s Retreat Centre, Parmoor, Frieth RG9 6NN, in beautiful grounds with ample free parking 3 miles from Marlow Bucks. I see adult clients, couples, and accept referrals from GP’s and fellow practitioners. I supervise individual therapists and offer group supervision for Brent social services.

I completed separate counselling, psychotherapy and supervisor trainings at the Metanoia Institute in London over the course of many years to achieve BA and MSc degrees in those disciplines. Metanoia is widely regarded as one of the finest trainings available. Following qualification I worked for many years providing individual and group psychotherapy for the Dove Centre in Aylesbury before establishing a solid private practice in Marlow Bucks. I have been accredited with the UKCP for a number years, and follow a rigorous program of Continuing Professional Development.

I have a special interest in helping people with a range of anxiety issues, and have a wide experience in helping people with:
abuse issues
addictive issues
Sexual compulsion, Inappropriate use of the Internet
inappropriate and disordered eating
personality problems
Life Crises [Divorce, Bereavement], Relationship issues
Gender issues, sexuality and intimacy
Terminal illness
Faith issues
Cancer support for sufferers and their partners.

Extensive supplemental training in relational therapy has supported my Couples' work and now forms a significant part of my practice.
Further, I remain committed to an ethical and affordable pricing structure in line with peer professionals within the UKCP.

My Counselling and Psychotherapy practice serves the Marlow, Henley, Maidenhead and High Wycombe/Beaconsfield areas:
Psychotherapy, counselling and supervision is provided from dedicated premises in Frieth RG9 6NN, close to Marlow Bucks. My therapy room is situated within St Katharine's House, a beautiful tranquil and confidential setting within easy reach of Bourne End, High Wycombe and Beaconsfield, and features free parking and wheelchair access. The towns of Henley on Thames, Reading, Maidenhead and Windsor are easily accessible by road and rail. I also practice in London W5 and SE1 and provide supervision for Brent social services in Harlesden and Wembley.

I have a busy practice and aim to make the most efficient use of my clients' resources.
